November - December - We tackle processing, with primary target of SCORM and secondary target PDF, according to our Phased Design Plan. - Q - how to produce a student and instructor version?
- How to apply profile processing?
- Looked at intended user roles in metadata.
- Have special treatment for images to place graphics in a powerpoint, for alignment, and so on.
- Would desire to use the learning map domain in a bookmap. I'll see if I can put one together.
- Student - instructor profiling.
- Use case. Set durations for each topic, then roll up those durations for a group.
- Do we want to make the duration available in the map?
- Might want to override the duration in the map.
- Looks like lcMapLom, lomTypicalLearningTime can do this.

- Day 1, morning, afternoon, and so forth.
- Could learningOverview be used for this?
- Question on the SCORM interactions and the sequencing. Transition to Wayne's email about interactions.
- We will need to provide some processing to instantiate the interactions in a SCORM package, for example.
- Robin: How do we see the DITA learning specialization working with S1000D content?
- Wayne - Plan discussed to pull the DITA topic types into an S1000D content wrapper, to see how the DITA learning
- constructs can work in an S1000D environment.
- John - Another approach is to use a DITA map as a common denominator, with possibility of including topic references
- to S1000D content.
- ADL Job Performance Technology Center has put into draft form under an Office of Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness Directive 1322.18 (now in draft form) says "all training content shall be acquired in either S1000D or DITA." A 60-90 day approval cycle is now underway.
