The proposal does not include schema changes, but it is additionally proposed to use NVDL. This will be covered by an additional proposal.

Impacts

Conformance:

The proposal does not add any new features, but it modifies the ODF 1.2 conformance clauses.

Backwards compatibility:

This proposal modifies the conformance definition for ODF 1.2 documents. It does not effect how these documents are processed by ODF 1.0 and 1.1 applications except that foreign elements are processed slightly differently in ODF 1.2 than in ODF 1.0 and ODF 1.1.
