About
This page is for discussion of how the XDI TC will organize its work to prepare the XDI 1.0 specifications.
Organizational Guidelines
On the 2008-02-21 TC telecon, there was consensus on the following guidelines:
Use lightweight workgroups. Workgroups are lighter weight and faster than subcommittees. Also, they don't require dedicated mailing lists. (The exception might a formal subcommittee for the ATI model if that makes sense; still TBD.)
Organize around specification topics. While workgroups don't need to be strictly organized around deliverables, we should organize around the key gaps we have identified in the specs we want to publish.
Proposed Specs/Workgroups
Following is the proposal started on the 2008-02-21 telecon and evolved on the 2008-02-28 telecon for structuring the XDI 1.0 specification suite and associated workgroups.
