Recent points distilled from recent emails on the topic

Here are a few points that have been made to us recently:

The certifying company must be an OASIS organizational member (i.e. not an individual or associate member) . They don't need to be a member of the TC.

This certification relates to your company’s use of and understanding of the spec. It does not certify that your company’s products comply with the spec or even that they will in the future. Prototyping or testing the spec qualifies as “successfully using the spec”.

Where to send the certification

The certifications should be sent to the XLIFF list (xliff@lists.oasis-open.org). For persons not eligible to post to that list, certifications should be sent to Tony, Bryan, or Mary. They will then forward the certification to the list.
