The DITA Technical Committee expects that the release of Lightweight DITA as an OASIS standard will lead to a rapid increase in the number of commercial and open-source tools that provide support for LwDITA. The Lightweight DITA subcommittee maintains this wiki page with a list of LwDITA tools and resources. Tool developers interested in having resources listed on this page should email the Lightweight DITA subcommittee at firstname.lastname@example.org
Disclaimer: Inclusion or mention in this list does not represent an endorsement from OASIS or the Lightweight DITA subcommittee.

Oxygen XML Editor and Oxygen XML Author. Oxygen provides support for creating, editing, and publishing XDITA and MDITA topics. It features new document templates to easily create LwDITA maps and topics, a specialized XDITA editor featuring inline hints, inline actions, form controls and user-friendly element names, a Markdown editor that supports a relaxed Markdown format as well as a more strict MDITA format with an as-you-type DITA preview.
Oxygen XML Web Author. A browser-based editor that supports XDITA topics. Web Author features on-request hints to assist users with information on what type of content is required, inline actions to make it easy to add LwDITA structure, inline form controls to provide streamlined editing directly inside the document (rather than requiring the use of a side panel), and element names are remapped to have more user-friendly names (for example, the dl element is displayed as Definition List).
DITA-FMx (version 2.0.06 and later). Provides enhancements to FrameMaker that allow authoring of XDITA topics and maps. Includes a set of structure applications (LwDITA-FMx) for authoring and publishing of Lightweight DITA in FrameMaker.
Content Mapper from Simply XML. A DITA XML authoring plug-in for MS Word. The author sees a Word UI and the repository sees DITA. With the Lightweight DITA enablement box checked, every DITA Topic and DITA Map will be authored and saved as valid XDITA.
XMLmind DITA Converter (version 3.3 and later). Supports validation and transformation of topics and maps authored in XDITA, HDITA, and MDITA Extended Profile.
