EDXL 101 - A periodic Education Event
Following up on discussions in the Outreach & Education SC, the EMA-TC is seeking input for a periodic event on EDXL Standards.
Purpose: Facilitate education of vendors that are interested in learning more about the EDXL Suite of Standards, how the standards work together, and how to go about implementing them. Focus on new vendors that may not have previous experience with the standards. Provide a forum for Q&A about the technical standards.
- Scope: Initial presentation will focus on overview of EDXL Suite of Standards including a more focused discussion on CAP and EDXL-DE. Future sessions will address more detail on EDXL-HAVE, EDXL-RM, and emerging standards.
- Audience: vendors, developers, end users, special interest groups.
- Frequency: Twice a year:

- Format: Webinar session and teleconference. Adoption TC members will provide webinar and teleconference capabilities for initial dry-run. It will not be archived. Consider requesting presentation slot for OPEN SIG for future session. SIG format includes archiving capabilities. OASIS staff have also identified option as of 4/30/10 to use OASIS webinar capability.
