[07:03] Nick Crossley (IBM): Nick to scribe

[07:04] Nick Crossley (IBM): Minutes of previous meeting at

[07:06] Nick Crossley (IBM): Minutes accepted

[07:06] Nick Crossley (IBM): Next - Change Management status and issues

[07:06] Nick Crossley (IBM): Jim: no change since last meeting - no further reviews seen from anyone.

[07:07] Nick Crossley (IBM): Action: Jim to send out note reminding TC members that CM is ready for review

[07:09] David Honey (IBM):

[07:10] Nick Crossley (IBM): Moving on to Config Mgmt

[07:14] Martin Sarabura (PTC):

[07:16] Nick Crossley (IBM): Discussed issue 10. This probably should have been split into two separate issues. The original issue of dealing with multiple providers is to be closed with no action - as the other service discovery issues were.

[07:17] Nick Crossley (IBM): The side issue is how to detect that a provider provides GLOBAL configurations.

[07:18] Nick Crossley (IBM): Vote on proposal: That the specification define a new value for oslc:usage on the config mgmt domain service resource for configuration management providers: oslc_config:globalConfigurationProvider. A service that implements GCs SHOULD provide this usage value, and any service providing this usage value MUST implement GCs (and of course can provide LCs as well).

[07:19] Nick Crossley (IBM): Change set review.

[07:20] David Honey (IBM):

[07:20] Nick Crossley (IBM): or

[07:24] Nick Crossley (IBM): Proposal for contributions is that those in the change set completely replace those in the overridden configuration

[07:28] Nick Crossley (IBM): David: what if a contribution overrides a different configuration from the change set?

[07:28] Nick Crossley (IBM): Nick: Doesn't understand the question - Nick & David to discuss offline

[07:29] Nick Crossley (IBM): David: Overridden config should be for the same component.

[07:37] Nick Crossley (IBM): David: one other difference - csets can have many selections, while streams or baselines can have at most one. Is there any value in allowing more than one selection in a baseline or stream? Perhaps dividing selections by category, or rather like paging for large numbers of selections?

[07:37] Nick Crossley (IBM): Nick: ask reviewers to consider this.

[07:40] Nick Crossley (IBM): Jim: what is the use case?

[07:40] Nick Crossley (IBM): Nick: consider a reporting client that needs to have a well-defined way to interpret the OSLC selections info

[07:42] Nick Crossley (IBM): Action: TC members to review proposal.

[07:42] Nick Crossley (IBM): Any other business?

[07:42] Nick Crossley (IBM): Meeting adjourned
