[07:07] Nick Crossley (IBM): Review minutes of previous meeting at https://wiki.oasis-open.org/oslc-ccm/Meetings/Telecon2017.03.09

[07:07] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Minutes approved.

[07:08] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Martin having some internet connectivity issues. Action item to resolve https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OSLCCCM-27 and https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OSLCCCM-28.

[07:10] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Nick's action items still pending.

[07:12] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Nick hasn't had time to comment on https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/OSLCCCM-36

[07:14] Nick Crossley (IBM): Nick's comments on Change Management draft pasted below:

[07:14] Nick Crossley (IBM):

[07:21] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Jim: Section 2.1, needs some editorial change to indicate OSLC core 3.0 must support discovery. The spec says that 3.0 must support 2.0 discovery.

[07:23] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Representation should say that RDF/XML is SHOULD rather than MAY.

[07:24] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Basic Authentication: "should" might be redundant, but if kept, should be "SHOULD"

[07:25] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Section 2.8.3 Updating Multi-Valued Properties: References a defunct page. Jim will remove it.

[07:26] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): change-mgt-resources.html: Jim will either fix or remove.

[07:27] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): change-mgt-vocab.ttl: Should namespace be oslc_cm? Jim will check core spec.

[07:28] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): change-mgt-shapes.ttl line 376,384, oslc_cm:state and status: Mentions "actions" but needs to be link. But actions spec was never completed or published.

[07:30] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): RTC is not compliant with any spec currently.

[07:31] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Biggest issue for change management is what to do with actions.

[07:32] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): In 2.0 spec, users could transition to a different state by changing the state field. In 3.0, these fields are readonly.

[07:34] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): In that respect, 3.0 spec is less satisfactory than 2.0.

[07:36] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): http://open-services.net/wiki/automation/OSLC-Automation-Specification-Version-2.1/

[07:37] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): That spec references http://open-services.net/wiki/core/Actions-2.0/

[07:39] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Which is in state: Status: Finalization - 17 February 2015

[07:42] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Nick: Make the read-only column for state as "undefined". Provide link to actions spec.

[07:45] Nick Crossley (IBM): See for example https://jazz.net/forum/questions/152920/how-find-available-actions-to-change-states-in-rtc-with-oslc

[07:48] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Action: Make read-only for "state" and "status" as unspecified. Addlink to actions spec as a MAY implement.

[07:49] Jim Amsden (IBM): Actions reference: http://open-services.net/wiki/core/Actions-2.0/

[07:50] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Action item to talk to RTC team is now less relevant with the above changes.

[07:52] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Replace action: Nick to submit enhancement request for RTC to follow Actions 2.0 spec.

[07:57] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Nick: The state predicates that represent aspects of state need to go back.

[07:57] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Jim: Has already put them back.

[08:00] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): In 2.0, these were boolean properties.

[08:00] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): To prevent queries from breaking, need to put the boolean properties back.

[08:04] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): skos:narrowerThan may be unsufficient to indicate relative ordering for custom enum values.

[08:04] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Need to keep boolean predicates for compatibility with 2.0 spec.

[08:06] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Jim will make changes ready for next meeting.

[08:06] David Honey (Persistent/IBM): Meeting adjourned.
