Motion to approve Minutes (January 17, 2024)

PKCS#11 v3.2

3.2 Work Items

• Item #6.1 KEM Draft. Bob still working out some issues. Noted Java is going with encapsulate/decapsulate. Discussion of function called Seal, instead of passing null.
• Item #9 : No updates.
• Item #13: Deferred to 3.3.
• Item #15: Greg has started on the usage guide. Greg will take over ownership.
• Item #16: this may drift into next release.

3.2 Action Items

• Action #7 - Greg started, but cannot access all of the data right now.
• Question: how do we track closing the loop? Answer: We will have to create a comment disposition log.

Work Items Deferred Items from 3.1

• No items outstanding.

Public Comments Items

• PC Item #1 GCM and CCM Wrapping - Hamish continuing to review. Debating depth needed. A few more items to flesh out.

PKCS#11 v3.0 Errata

• Dieter B. is ready, once we can review / approve the PDF version of the Jan 31 meeting, and Kavi is back up and running, we could move forward.

New Business

• Dieter B: Valerie commented on last version of the errata, and Dieter found a few places where we can improve wording and make things more clear. Dieter believes it is all editorial, so should be able to include in 3.2. There were also some missing OIDs
• Bob R. will be out March 27.
• ICMC will be in San Jose, CA this year. Early bird registration expires March 20. Call for papers runs through April 3. Please consider submitting a talk!
• Heads up, US is changing time on March 10.
